The short answer

Hosting is optional in the published managed GEO offer. Arrow can agree work through your existing website, your web provider or an Arrow-managed space. Any hosting costs and publication responsibilities must be confirmed before payment.

Separate the content work from the hosting decision

A useful page rewrite does not by itself require a new website. First determine whether the current site can publish the approved content and whether the right person can make the agreed changes. Your existing web provider may remain responsible for deployment.

An Arrow-managed space is another arrangement to discuss, not an automatic inclusion in the monthly price. Confirm where the pages will live, who controls the domain or subdomain, and how the hub will link to the main website. The setup should serve the reader’s journey.

Plan maintenance and handover before launch

Ask who handles domain changes, hosting billing, content updates and an eventual move. These responsibilities belong in the proposal. They should not be inferred from the fact that an answer hub carries your brand.

If the arrangement ends, clarify what stays online, what can be exported and who will publish the replacement. Content ownership and ongoing hosting are separate questions: retaining the copy does not by itself establish how long a hosted site will remain available.

What to check

  1. Confirm whether the existing site can publish the agreed work.
  2. Record hosting costs, domain control and the publishing owner.
  3. Agree the export and hosting arrangements for an eventual handover.

A practical example

Illustrative example: a business keeps its current site and web provider. Arrow prepares an approved answer page, the provider publishes it, and the team verifies the live URL. No hosting migration is needed for that agreed task.
